Letters from the Elves of Thornwood is a story mailed to your grandchild in seven parts, narrated by Lorendil, an old elf who has spent his life collecting stories worth keeping. Every letter ends the same way: an invitation your grandchild can't finish without you.
Each letter includes:
The Tale — a short, self-contained fairy tale
The Invitation — a P.S. at the end of the story, inviting your grandchild to pick up the phone and call you, whether that's a phone call, FaceTime, or in person
The Record Page — a place for them to write your story down, in their own handwriting, and keep forever. It simply can't be filled in without you.
Across the series, your grandchild will ask you about love and courtship, the person who shaped you, a hardship you overcame, a clever way you found through something hard, a meal you'll never forget, a time you were scared and did it anyway, and what you most want to be remembered for.
The first letter ships in about a week, arriving within two weeks of ordering. From there, a new letter arrives about every other week — a steady rhythm of connection, not a flood all at once — unfolding over roughly twelve weeks.
By the last letter, your family will have something no one else has: a small handwritten archive of your own words, in your grandchild's handwriting, kept forever.
